Antalya Youth Voices is the first ever public-speaking congress of Antalya’s multinational youth aged 13-20, set to take place on February 10th. It's not just a listening event; it's an opportunity for youth from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, interests, and aspirations to actively engage, share compelling ideas, and collaboratively craft something truly impactful and inspiring! From youth to youth.
Our overarching goal is to provide the young voices of Antalya a platform to express what matters most to them, sparking awareness and stimulating discussions on contributing to a better world. It's a chance not only to speak up but also to absorb inspiration and motivation from the narratives of others. Moreover, this event serves as a unique opportunity to connect with kindred spirits across different social circles that you might not encounter elsewhere.

We are searching for youth aged 13-20 speaking English or Turkish that has an inspiring, strong idea needed to be heard.

SPEAK ABOUT WHATEVER IS IMPORTANT
Speakers at our event aren't confined to a narrow range of topics. We embrace a wide spectrum of ideas from various areas of life at our event, encouraging diversity. Feel free to share any idea that adheres to simple rules of kindness – your unique perspective is valued and welcomed.
POSSIBLE TOPICS
these are merely examples, and you are free to choose any other topic you like
How does social media influence teens? How do deal with it? How to control screen time without conflicts? From what age should kids have phones? What opportunities does social media have?
What does it mean to be kind? How can we help each other in everyday life? What is diversity and how to support it? Why does hate occur between social classes?
What does being a perfect parent mean? What do you wish your parents understood about you? What do you wish you understood better about them? What do you love about your relationships?
Medicine, education, sport, space, youth
People could not lie; the American continents never existed; the day was twice as long/short; all people spoke the same languages; antibiotics were discovered earlier
Why do people sometimes hate each other? How to deal with strong emotions? Why do we get influenced by the opinions of others?
RULES OF KINDNESS
NO POLITICAL JUDGMENTS
Commenting the modern political situation, as well as criticising certain nationalities will not be approved
NO RELIGIOUS JUDGMENTS
No type of religious speeches or philosophy will be approved. Our congress is multinational, so we need to respect our diversity
NO OFFENSIVE STATEMENTS
Any type of discrimination will not be supported for the same reason.
HOW TO CHOOSE A TOPIC
If you are struggling to choose a topic that matters most you, try surfing the internet and watching different TED or TEDx speeches given by teenagers or young adults. Antalya Youth Voices is similar to a TEDx event.

We're not here to judge or show off knowledge. Instead, it's a space for us to listen, share, and inspire one another. No evaluations, just genuine conversations and a chance to be inspired by the voices of our diverse youth community.

And pay the administration fee (300 TL). Next, you will receive corrections and advice on how to improve your performance.
